I don't remember. I was about 1 or so and we were moving there because of my fathers job. The first plane flight I remember is when I went to Las Vegas with my grandparents for my 21st birthday. That was a lot of fun… My grandparents were the greatest….

It’s the day before school starts and she’s not happy!!! She’s missing her friends from NY. I feel for her but I’m glad it’s tomorrow and we can move on and let her be happy…. She’s got a lot to do today, she’s got to get organized, wash clothes, get books and supplies ready. She’ll probably wait till the last minute!!! But she’s old enough to do it on her own time… I still worry though…is she gonna get into the right crowd, will she fit in, all those things fill my mind daily… It’s not easy going to a new school when your a Sophomore….

The SGM is doing alright. Just waiting to find out about this contract and all that. I hope he gets to come home for a time before going anywhere, whether it’s here or there. I just want us to spend time as a family for a bit… I miss him allot….. the baby does too because he’s to cool one who does stuff with her….

I haven’t heard from the PVT in a couple of days. Talking with him he seemed to be adjusting well.. They said that letters complaining will be coming home because it’s that phase in the training. I got one of those saying he only gets 5 to 6 hours of sleep… He gets wet and muddy doing training and all that. So we’ll see how he is once he’s done.. He’s lead a pretty comfortable life…

I think I’ll watch scary movies all day…..

It’s almost school time and the baby isn’t liking it at all. She’s really nervous. When I told her It was Saturday, she was like, “What, it’s Saturday already!” That just means school is on Monday.. I just want to get it over with and for her to get friends… The waiting is just awful. I’ve been to a lot of schools and I know how being the new person is but she’s very shy, so it’s going to be harder on her. I just hope someone decides to say hi, my name is so and so, lets be friends. She did have a friend like that in NY, I called her fast girl. She was nice and all. So let the countdown begin to hell day..

They still haven’t said about the SGM‘s contract. I feel that it’s like they won’t tell them anything so they won’t all leave at once because he will. Florida is all he talks about, fishing, his kids and what not.. But we’ll see. Everyday he’s there is more money for us…. He says he wants to stay till February and then take a year off again. I said whatever, as long as you are happy I’m fine with anything. I miss him a lot. I guess if things keep like they are going, I’ll see him in November for the PVT‘s graduation. Oh well. I’ll just play it by ear..

Elliott and Cindi are doing great. They are getting used to each other and starting to play. Cassidy is alright. It will take a bit long for him to get over his prey stuff… But she wants to play with him… I don’t know what his problem is with the grass here but he doesn’t like to go into it and do his business. You have to actually pull him into the yard and once there he’s alright but coming back it’s like he almost hops like a bunny to get to the pavement. It’s weird and it makes me mad because he might poop on the carpet and I don’t want that at all. So I’ve got to come up with something, I’m just not sure what. Maybe I can get walking stones out to where he’s alright and then he can just walk on them to go potty. Funny but it might work. Any suggestions are welcome.

Cindi is doing great. She’s into everything, just like a little kid… Elliott just loves her and tries to play with her.. She is getting on the babies nerves because she won’t leave her alone. She sleeps on her legs or chest during the day and sits in her lap when she’s on the computer. She is adorable and she talks allot. She tried to get Cassidy and swiped his face and made his eye bleed. Of course he’s looking at her with the preditor eye.. But by next week she should be able to come out of those two rooms with us when we are home. I’ll take pics when that happens… I’m gonna miss him. I’m also gonna see about getting the invisible fence so I can just let them go out and do their business instead of staying within 2ft of the house. It bothers me and I know when the SGM comes home he’s gonna kick him out in the yard. He feels pets are food…

The PVT called last night because we were having a storm. The thunder storms are really bad here, nothing like Upstate NY. The dogs are getting used to them because it’s almost daily that we get them… He’s doing fine. Complaining because he only gets to sleep about 5 to 6 hours a day and they had to get muddy and wet doing the obstacle course the other day. He has to carry his riffle with him everywhere… From what he’s telling me is that a lot of the guys are over 21 and just want to get drunk on Family day. I said we don’t have to come and you can go with them. So we’ll see. He may change his mind and go with his friends…

I’m taking Cassidy to surgery this next week for this bump on his eye that’s been getting bigger… Cindi made it bleed today but swiping at him. I’ll let ya know how it goes.

The baby found a couple of shorts and some shoes. We plan on going shopping this Saturday and then next Saturday at the really big mall. So she’s alright for the start of school. I still have to get her hair cut and buy school supplies. Just the normal stuff you need before school starts. I’m not going to take college classes right now till my 1 year residency is up. It just costs to much and with the uncertainty of the SGM’s job right now, I’m not gonna put us into debt more.

The dove that has adopted us has two babies instead of one. We can see them both now. I wonder when they will leave. I’ll see if I can take pics.
